I, too, am experiencing this strange behaviour (bug? misconfig?)

The problem did not occur before 9Aug2001, 23:00 CEST(=GMT+2)
The problem *did* occur after 10Aug2001, 11:30 CEST

Unfortunately, I cannot povide more insights than the initial bug report. I'd 
be happy to do some testing, though.

PS: yes, I did update and reinstall kdelibs and kdenetwork completely
