Package: kmail
Version: KDE 2.2.0 Alpha2
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Typically you dial a provider and then you use your connexion to ftp, mail surf or \
whatever. Kppp is obviously developed with a multi provider approach and nowadays \
many users have more than one single provider. This is my case.

Selecting a provider fixes some parameters like SMTP, proxy, etc....

KMail setup has already SMTP acount buil-in before establishing the connexion to a \
provider and this is crap (same for Konqueror and NetScape that have proxy's \
built-in. Coming back to KMail it would be neat to recover from Kppp connexion a \
system vraible like $Current_SMTP that could appear as a choice in KMail set-up, then \
same for Konqueror with $Current_Proxy, etc... Very easy to do to achieve something \
not alike Windows.

manually changed)
