Yes the code is a little complicated unfortunately. > If you think this isn't possible, then please close the > bug report. If I ever see it again, you'll here from > me soon after! Ok, I'll close it. I did fix some bugs in that code, maybe I got lucky and fixed it. Don. has caused the attached bug report to be marked as done. This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with. If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith. (NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what I'm talking about this indicates a serious mail system misconfiguration somewhere. Please contact me immediately.) I had to kill the kmail process to stop it. This is similar to bug #25815 which was closed on assumption it was a sendmail problem (sorry I didn't know how to re-open it). We use qmail-smtpd here (1.01). I have used kmail for 2 years or so and never had this problem. I've been using kde-2.1.1 with RH7.1 for about a month and it's only happened once - so maybe it is a problem that only arises when there is something up with the smtp server? Anyway - kmail shouldn't (MUST NOT!) send a message again and again without limit whatever the cause. Thanks for your time and many thanks for the effort on kmail - much appreciated!
