I still can't reproduce it. It seems to have been fixed already.
Therefore I close this bug report.

If you can reproduce the bug with the upcoming KMail 1.3 (which will be
part of KDE 2.2.0) then feel free to reopen this bug report by sending
a message to control@bugs.kde.org with the following message text:
reopen 30036
stop

BTW, you forgot the underscore in the address 1. ;-)

Regards,
Ingo

Subject: editing mail in outbox with adress containing underscore causes probelms
From: sraabe@gmx.de

Package: kmail
Version: 1.2 (using KDE 2.1.2 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.14 i686
OS/Compiler notes:

hi,

if i edit a mail in the outbox, and the adress of this mail contains an underscore \
(e.g. "Foo Bar" <foo_bar@bar.com>), kmail replaces the underscore with a blank after \
finishing editing. this coauses kmail to produce an error when trying to send the \
message. this bug is reproducable

greetings
sascha

ps: sorry for the bad english ;)
