I've configured one Epson Stylus Photo 750 Printer which works fine in my applications. I can't print any messages with KMail. Kmail puts the message in the corresponding printer queue (as I can see by KUPS) but it stays there with status 'processing' for ever (restarting Linux does not help). Printing from other applications does not work either because of this job in the printing queue). When I cancel the job through KUPS or other means I can't still use the printer. I have to cold start my system in order to use the printer again.
