Subject: Attachment Deletion Feature Request
From: bathd@edipost.auspost.com.au

Package: kmail
Version: 1.2 (using KDE 2.1.1 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Not Specified
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

It would be extremely useful to have a method for deleting attachments from selected \
messages within a particular mbox file. Such a tool could be fairly general, and \
exist "outside" kmail, possibly used by other mail clients, that takes the name of \
the mbox file and parameters describing which messages to remove attachments from \
(based on message id, date, etc). At a high level in kmail, this would allow you to \
highlight messages and then hit a "remove attachments" button. Additionally, a set \
of rules similar to filter rules could be built up for attachment removal (or even \
message removal) and the rule "run" on demand.

(Called from KBugReport dialog. Fields Application, KDE Version, OS, Compiler \
manually changed)
