yeah.. i was downloading my mail over a slow link.  The status panel started :

Preparing Transmission to foo..

[a few seconds later..]

> blank<

On other occasions, it wizzes through the whole "preparing transmission/Message \
1/2/bytes=x" messages really quickly.

so I'm wondering.. "Is it still downloading, or did it finish when i wasn't looking?"

In other words, if the status bar is going to go blank, perhaps we could have an \
animated icon (like the rotating cog in konqueror) which tells us that KMail is busy?

Thanks for the great work so far anyway..  kmail is certainly my #1 client :-)
