I proposed a checkbox in the "..." dialog "Show recent addresses". Would this

Well, that's what the "..." dialog does :) Not limited to your recent
addresses, but also your addressbook. Nice, isn't it? ;)

You mean, showing all recent addresses when completing an "empty" address"?
