   Well I'd rather not work on this but no-one else has started it so I 
figured I'd at least investigate to see what needs to be done.  I have an 
OpenBSD box here which, IIRC, is basically ready for Kerberos from the 
start..  I guess I could use that as a testbed.  I just don't know where this 
stuff has to be implemented.  Is it just the authentication method?  Then it 
might go in the same place as SASL, otherwise [TCP]SlaveBase.  If it's 
throughout the session then it will have to go into [TCP]SlaveBase.

   I'm sure there is probably an RFC for kpop.  If fetchmail supports it, you 
could read that code to see how it's done too.
