Your message with subj: crashes if out of disk space

<quote>
Package:           kmail
Version:           1.2 (using KDE 2.1.2 )
Severity:          normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.1
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-81)
OS:                Linux 2.2.17-8smp i686
OS/Compiler notes:

If there is no space available on the disk containing Mail/inbox and your
other folders, Kmail crashes when downloading new messages, moving messages
from one folder to another, or deleting messages. Catching the error and
displaying an informative message box would save users some confusion and
avoid wasted time trying to determine the cause of the crash.

... but caused people to loose mail in earlier versions.

You better check with df or kdf, if there is still enough space, I doubt,
that KMail is the only application, that doesn't work correctely anymore in
this case.
