   That's annoying... to have to wait for it to reconnect all the time.  You 
don't have to turn this on automatically either.  Hell you can have a wizard 
pop up upon configuring the first imap account which explains this and asks 
which method is preferred.  Making a hack where a proper procedure exists is 
not a good idea.
