Alright, I read the archives. I see why that feature can be a problem and I 
actually agree that it's probably not good to just implement a "delete 
message" target in the filters. But I also think that it's not a good thing 
if something's not possible. I think there has to be SOME way to do this, 
even if it's pretty complicated but having to hack the sources is definitely 
too complicated.

Oh, and I also think that there should be a set status option ("make message 
read"). This would enable me to mark the message read and then push it into 
the trash. This wouldn't be dangerous but would basically solve my problem.

To provide you with a practical application for this: My freemail provider 
(GMX) sends a stupid message where they advertise their products and new 
features and give beginner's tips and tricks every couple of weeks. It's very 
annoying to delete these messages by hand and I would like to automate it.

BTW, if somebody of you has a suggestion on how to do this with features that 
are already there, please tell me.
