Hitting this URL in KMail does nothing:

kdecore (KProtocolManager): ERROR: Protocol http not found
kdecore (KProtocolManager): ERROR: Protocol http not found
kdecore (KProtocolManager): ERROR: Protocol http not found
kio (KRun): ERROR: #### NO SUPPORT FOR READING!

It this beause of the "no external links" switch in kthml?
If yes, this goes too far, IMO. It should only prohibit _automatic_ 
loading of external references, like CSS, images, etc, not prohibit 
following links...
