Well, this is _NOT_ a feature-request. It's a severe usability-bug which 
prevents kmail from getting better reviews than it could get.

Well, I meant "a seperate app" from the point of view of the user (who 
doesn't care/know about processes etc.).
I see several good reasons for keeping the import-filter-stuff in 
a seperate process/application but to the user it rather should look like one
application. :-)
