Subject: Bug#24833: closing kmail while retrieving mail -> triggering of dial up connection
From: oskadsem () start ! no
Date: 2001-04-26 21:03:31
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: kmail
Version: KDE 2.1.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: Debian Packages
Compiler: gcc 2.95.2
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified
If I close kmail while it is trying to retrieve my email, it leaves behind a process: \
"kdeinit: kio_pop3 pop3 /tmp/ksocket-oskadsem/klauncherPfMg8b.slave-socket \
/tmp/ksocket-oskadsem/kmailKpEjjc.slave-socket" This process then continually \
triggers my ISDN-connection. (I'm fairly certain its this process, since the problem \
stops if I kill the process). It seems to die on its own after a while though.
