Well, login belongs to the transmission, at least according to the status bar 
text :-)

At least if I try to connect to this server on the pop3 port, I get either 
"no route to host" or "connection timed out" after a few minutes.
Freemail is often of low quality. At least I'm quite sure, that it's a 
temporary problem with the server due to too many users trying to connect and 
you tried with Eudora only at a better time.
