Hi,

started with kmail in mandrake 7.2, and had no problem with fetching mail with kmail.

Upgrading to beta-versions of mandrake (to get 2.4 kernel-usb) the new kmail can not fetch mail. We are using a proxy.

Testing with telnet turns out ok, but not newer kmail. "Invalid response from server" with two citation marks "".

It looks like the (real) server name after # is lost somehow when looking into proxy. This was ok in older kmail. Sorry to bother,but this is annoying.
