Hello Daniel,
Thank you for your quick reply.
I'm visually impaired and I must say, KDE is a delight! It seems
*everything* is configurable, so I have big desktop icons, very large
fonts, etc. There is one thing that prevents me from switching completely
to Linux with KDE and abandoning my Win3.1 system: a few minor, easy to
modify things in kmail.
Basically what's missing is a 'Folders' item in the row:
Message Edit View Options Attach Settings Help
Klicking on it or giving 'Alt f' would open the mailboxes list, i.e.
Inbox
Outbox
Sent-mail
Trash
And eventual other created mailfolders.
From there you could choose a folder and the folder list would open.
When this would be possible _and_ it would be possible to completely
minimize the folders box on the desktop, it would give more space to the
contents of a folders' list. And that's what you need when you have a sight
problem. I already use huge characters, so every bit helps.
I can also put the wish in other terms: make it like Eudora Light 3.0.
Ideal for visually impaired!
Hope you can use my suggestion. By the way, a lot of items etc. are
different from Eudora, that's not the problem. That's just learning new
keystrokes.
The only thing I would like changed is the way folders are treated (which
is now only an MS way)
Thank you for your attention, good luck with your excellent work.
And, ofcourse I would like to act as a tester.
Dirk
