Subject: kmail hung restart
From: MIC.Hostettler@t-online.de

Package: kmail
Version: 1.2 (using KDE 2.1.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux 2.2.14 i686
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

If kmail locks up for some reason,
starting another one is not possible until you `killall -9 kmail`,
otherwise the new instance will never show up and hang as well.

Killing the old instance with <STRG>+<ALT>+<ESC> klick the pirate on the kmail window \
will not çlear the problem.

`kill -STOP` on the kmail has the same effect as if it were hung regarding to this \
issue
