Package: kmail
Version: 1.1.99 (KDE 2.0)
Severity: wishlist
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686 (compiled sources)

Hi all,
there are a few ideas about kmail.

- why canīt I use following: "Hello dear %F, \n\n at %D you wrote something \
about %S. \n Hereīs my answer" The program doesnīt response to the "\n". I \
think it would be fine to have this behavior

- It would be fine if I could define an enxternal viewer (like xv) for \
atached pics. And it would be fine, if kmail would either open only the \
one marked or ALL atached pics AT ONE TIME with the external viewer.

- Why not use konqueror as viewer? It then would be possible to use all its \
features. So the user for example can view an atached mpeg-video by one \
mouseclick.

- It would be fine, if there would be a new feature in the adressbook: Why \
cant I mark any users, so mails to them will ALL automatically encrypted \
(with pgp/gnupg)

- Iīm missing a comfortable interface to pgp/gpg. If I will add a key to my \
keyring included in a mail from anybody, I always have to save the mail, \
and add the key by hand. The same problem if I will sign a key. Is there a \
chance to get an interface to pgp?

- If I get a mail from a mailbox-user or from - from example - the german \
z-netz, the pgp-keys are included in the header of the mail. Is there any \
chance to handle this?

- If I change the borders between folder-part, mailheader-part and \
mailbody-part, the changes are not saved So after next start of the \
program kmail uses its "Default-Values" again. Why this cannot be saved?

many thanks! :-)
Eckard
