Subject: Background SMTP Send mail
From: steve.parker@netops.co.uk

Package: kmail
Version: KDE 2.1.1
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Linux2.4.1

Are there any plans to make kmail's "send" functionality a background task which does \
not pause the rest of the kmail GUI? It is a royal pain when sending a mail with \
large attachments through a slow modem as other mails cannot be read, sorted, etc, \
until the send has completed.
