IMHO you should change the last sentence to the following:
"Just to be sure we recommend to make a backup of your mail folder 
(~/Mail) and to compress all folders before you switch to the new 
version."

Reason: When I switched to the new KMail suddenly tons of "deleted" 
mails reappeared. It was really annoying to have to delete them a 
second time.
