You have to install at least the new kdelibs, kdebase and kdenetwork 
packages.

The bcc-option is already available in Kmail 1.1.99. Simply choose BCC
from the View menu in the composer to view the bcc field.

AFAIK aliases for a group of recipients are still not supported.

But the new version of KMail has some other nice features like support 
for mailing lists, a drafts folder and better support of PGP/GnuPG.
