OS/Compiler notes: 512 Meg ram 2 800Mhz PIII cpus running SuSE 7.0

When recieving messages with large amounts of text (not attachment) kmail eats all system recources and quickly locks the entire system.  The messages must be removed by hand in order to start kmail again without locking the system.   This happens if there is more then 35megs of text in the email message.
