Hi, again.
I got a problem with kmail, working with popper as pop3-server on localhost. Very \
often when I try to download mails, /var/log/mail shows follwing (e.g.):
--- cut ---
Feb 23 14:33:50 home popper[1049]: apop "wolf"
Feb 23 14:33:50 home popper[1049]: wolf@localhost: -ERR POP authorization DB not \
available (wolf)
Feb 23 14:33:50 home popper[1051]: apop "wolf"
Feb 23 14:33:50 home popper[1051]: wolf@localhost: -ERR POP authorization DB not \
available (wolf)
Feb 23 14:33:51 home popper[1052]: wolf@localhost: -ERR POP EOF received
Feb 23 14:33:51 home popper[1054]: apop "wolf"
Feb 23 14:33:51 home popper[1054]: wolf@localhost: -ERR POP authorization DB not \
available (wolf)
Feb 23 14:33:52 home popper[1055]: Stats: wolf 11 36504 0 0
Feb 23 14:35:55 home sendmail[1057]: f1NDZtV01057: from=wolf, size=866, class=0, \
nrcpts=1, msgid=<01022314355500.01041@home>, bodytype=8BITMIME, relay=localhost \
[[UNIX: localhost]]
Feb 23 14:35:55 home sendmail[1057]: f1NDZtV01057: to=asierakowski@t-online.de, \
delay=00:00:00, mailer=relay, pri=30866, stat=queued
Feb 23 14:37:57 home popper[1060]: apop "wolf"
Feb 23 14:37:57 home popper[1060]: wolf@localhost: -ERR POP authorization DB not \
available (wolf)
--- cut ---
Sometimes it works without any problems (rarely) and sometimes it works when I press \
the cancel-button.
Did I configure something wrong or why does kmail try to authenticate with \
"wolf@localhost" although I configured kmail to use "wolf" only?
Thanks for taking yourself time to read my mail. :-)
