Package: kmail
Version: 1.2 (KDE 2.1 post Beta 1)
Severity: normal
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.18 i686 (compiled sources)

for whatever reason kmail gave me a popup window
"cannot access //usr/spool/mail/wr". I did not note the exact message, sorry.

After pressing OK and going online lots of QTimers started to get mail. I normally
check 3 pop servers every minute - at least that's how it is configured.

And /var/log/messages said
Dec 23 23:26:15 verilin kernel: VFS: file-max limit 4096 reached
Dec 23 23:36:27 verilin kernel: Unable to load interpreter /lib/ld-linux.so.2

Problem is I cannot say for sure in which order these events happened.
But I think interval mail checking should not start a QTimer if there already
is one for that account.
