Hello!

I got a problem sending mail via the hosts "mail.gmx.de" since Tuesday
2000-11-28 (new mail-server at gmx?!)
or "smtp.web.de" since a longer time.

The Messages from the local postfix where:

<time> <hostname> postfix/qmgr[3005]: E051B65D3:
from=<<loginname>@<hostname>>, size=719 (queue active)

and later:

<time> <hostname>  postfix/smtp[3117]: D9D2065D3: to=<x@y.z>,
relay=194.221.183.20[194.221.183.20], delay=584,
status=bounced (host 194.221.183.20[194.221.183.20] said: 553 Only

This was caused by a damaged kmail config. After removing
".kde2/share/config/kmailrc" and creating a new config all works.
but kmail shows no message about that.

The problem was a wrong sender adress (<from>). Kmail ignored the settings
and set it to <loginname>@<host>, but the
mailservers check the sender adress (and the password with pop before)

Perhaps I should add, that I tested a lot of beta-versions of kde 2.0, this
may have caused the damages config.

Thanks for this great tool.
