Hello, everybody. I have been happily using KMail 1.1.99 for the last week.
It works nice, but it could work even better if it had some features. It
would make me cruise through my mails a lot faster (and like everybody at
MySQL I get lots of them :-) ) Some of my suggested features may already be
there, I may just not be aware of how to make them work:
* A setting to control the behaviour of reply-all - currently reply all will
include the person who is replying (you) in the receipient list. In most
cases this is not desirable. Another option needed here is converting all the
non-directing receipients ( than were not in the From field) to CC
* Cosmetic request - the stuff in View in composer would be nice to be able
to configure in general options - it took be a while to figure out how to BCC
for example, but ... it is nice that you can control Identity, From, and
Transport on per-message basis without changing global settings
* Being able to save a message and then open and finish it later
* This one is really a bug - if you thread messages and use N and P keys to
navigate, following a thread takes you off the beaten path if you delete the
parent message - the reply gets moved under your feet. There should at least
be an option to keep the reply where it was originally
* A command/hot key for first/last read/unread
* hot key for set status read/unread/new/, or at least an option to be able
to define one - currently you can do a binding for set status command, but it
does not do much good, as you cannot pass a parameter to it with a key
Other than the above, it works great. Keep up the good work!
