From kmail-devel Sat Sep 30 20:02:52 2000 From: Andreas Gungl Date: Sat, 30 Sep 2000 20:02:52 +0000 To: kmail-devel Subject: Bug#12097: Spurious message of 'mail has been sent' in background X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kmail-devel&m=97035043200499 Same problem for me, kdelibs, kdebase and kdenetwork 2 days old from CVS.= =20 This is what I do: I've checked the "Send mail in outbox folder on check" option. When I che= ck=20 my mailbox via (adv.) POP, then I almost ever switch to another virtual=20 desktop to read some web pages. When there is a queued message waiting in the outbox, it is sent after al= l=20 messages are fetched. The mentioned window (with the nice output about th= e=20 SMTP progress) arises on the current desktop. It doesn't get closed after= =20 the queued messages are sent. I can't close it manually, but I can move it to another desktop. (So it's= =20 not on all desktops for me.) It gets closed when I close KMail. I hope, this will help.
