No error message, just a little operating/layout issue:

The bug:
The tab button "Folders" in the top left kmail view is obviously
automatically sized to the width of the list view. This works.
But now I have a long folder list that creates a vertical scrollbar
for the view: the width of the bar is probably not subtracted from
the view width, and I ALWAYS get a horizontal scrollbar because the
tab button is ALWAYS covered from the vertical scrollbar, no matter
how wide the view is.

How to provoke that behaviour:
- Make the view with the folder list shorter than the list. The
  vertical scrollbar appears
- Press the tab button to re-sort the list
  - or -
  close and open again the mailreader window.
  The horizontal scrollbar will appear in any case.

Sorry, I can't provide a patch, I'm just having a quick look over the
binaries. Great work though! I'm using kmail since KDE 1.0!
