Yes, but how hard would it be to check if the send was initiated from the menu or if it was initiated by the check mail at interval option? I guess there'd have to be a separate slot/signal for each? (I haven't looked at how the check mail at interval works.) If there was a way to tell the difference, mail should only be sent on a manual check, not on automatic checks. Another possibility is to create a "drafts" mail folder and give the user the option on saving messages in progress to the drafts folder rather than just putting them in the outbox.
