You'll have to give us a little more to go on before we can help you out.
Try configuring kdenetwork with debugging options (./configure --enable-debug
<your-normal-options>), and then give us a DrKonqi report.
Try moving your ~/Mail out of the way and see if that makes a difference.
It's weird the way your index files are out of date. Did you only try KMail
once?
Wait a day and then try to cvs update and try again.
I really need more info here, I can try to update again myself in a few days
and see I experience the same problem, but if I can't reproduce the problem
and no one else can I'll have to close the bug as 'cannot reproduce'
