Oh dear, 

I tried to compact my "redhat-digest" folder which has become waaay too big:
-rw-------   1 espen    espen    82502411 May  2 08:48 Mail/redhat-digest

but my system chrashed (had to use the power switch to get out of X). Here is
size of the memory in my machine (kmail can be a real hog):

venus:~free

-/+ buffers/cache:      73488      54204
Swap:       323504          0     323504

It is possible to compact from the command line? Some nice little tool
perhaps :)
