Dear Stefan,
I found a bug in kmail, whenever I pressed reply kmail crashes with
sig11.
After enable debug I found the reason.
In KMMessage.cpp  in method KMMessage::getRefStr()

const QString KMMessage::getRefStr()
{
  QString firstRef, lastRef, refStr, retRefStr;
  int i, j;

  refStr = headerField("References").stripWhiteSpace ();
  debug("References = %s", refStr.data());
^^ this line makes kmail crash, 
after comment out this line all was ok ;-), I observed all debug
statements are comment out, maybe this was forgotten.
Version was 1.0.29.1. Halloween IV gcc2.95
