Hi everybody,

Do you think Mary is right, that kmail should not pop up a
warning dialog when the local mailbox file does not exist?

Up to now I thought that the file has to exist.

A problem with kmail.


Synopsis: user mlei unable to open /var/spool/mail/mlei mail file

    This is a problem with kmail interacting with some other mail
    programs.  The other program deletes the mailbox when empty
    and then kmail fails to find the mailbox.  The situation
    will be resolved when the user receives new mail.  This
    behaviour should be considered a bug in kmail.
