Hiya,

Today I was in the unfortunate position to discover a kmail error :-(

When the SMTP protocol gives back an error you do not get a 
notification of this in current KMail. (The KDE 1.1.2 version works 
fine) Further mail will not be send so you end up with an outbox full 
of mail which isn't being send.
