If KMail hangs rather than crashes when reading one of George's mails then you
may be experiencing the khtml related problem I described previously on this
list. After reading certain mails (and having the khtml widget render them)
KMail will hang when attempting to read a PGP signed (or encrypted message).

Just a thought.
