Next, while still in the Message, open the properties of the HTML file and choose "Suggest Automatic Display" and make sure the type (at the top of the panel) is text/html. Now save it back into the templates folder and you will see it does what you want. Use the template every time you need a new email - you can send it straight from the template folder without having to re-create the original. So now you have the ability to write a non-html e-mail (and please the purists) but send it with a HTML attachment (and then infuriate them).
