The issue is a bit different on my IMAP account:

1. Setup a rule for "From" contains " mydomain    " with action "move to \
mymail/private" 2. Send yourself a mail
3. After synchronization, mail is fetched and moved as unread to mymail/private;
4. don't go to the folder just start another synchronization
5. This will mark the unread mail in all subfolders as read.

This behaviour is annoying since I synchronize automatically quite often and it's \
hard to find incoming mails again which are marked as read. \
