The issue with sort order which is ignoring most "non-letter" characters at the \
beginning of names is still persistent in KDE (now 3.5.6) and very annoying. Some \
symbols (like exclamation mark "!") are deliberately ignored in sort sequence, as \
described in comments earlier - not only in KMail but all over KDE. This should be at \
least configurable, allowing to use all charset symbols allowed in names to determine \
