I am suffering this bug (which has been assigned for 5 years!).  I am running \
openSuse 10.2 with kmail, I have several folders containing between 5-20,000 emails \
(!), but I was suffering from this bug even before I had such full folders. In \
addition to the kmail gui freezing, my kicker panel and kickoff menu freeze and \
sometimes crash whilst kmail is downloading email. This bug is really dysfunctional \
and is a real blocker. _______________________________________________
