IMHO a good solution would be to have the stopNetworkJobs() DCOP call (and the \
equivalent "Work Offline" menu action) actually destroy all kio_imap4 child processes \
as this doesn't seem to happen currently. Personnaly, I'm using ifplugd on my laptop \
to help me automatically roam between networks, and have automated some tasks (like \
Kopete's connect and disconnect and mail checking) using DCOP. Unfortunatelly, the \
aforementioned bug doesn't let kmail work properly: everytime I resume my laptop or I \
change networks, the IMAP processes hang waiting on a dead or timed-out connection \
and I have to kill all kio_imap4 instances manually to get things back to work. \
