IMHO a good solution would be to have the stopNetworkJobs() DCOP call (and \
the equivalent "Work Offline" menu action) actually destroy all kio_imap4 \
child processes as this doesn't seem to happen currently. Personnaly, I'm \
using ifplugd on my laptop to help me automatically roam between networks, \
and have automated some tasks (like Kopete's connect and disconnect and \
mail checking) using DCOP. Unfortunatelly, the aforementioned bug doesn't \
let kmail work properly: everytime I resume my laptop or I change networks, \
the IMAP processes hang waiting on a dead or timed-out connection and I \
have to kill all kio_imap4 instances manually to get things back to work. \
