From kmail-devel Fri Dec 29 19:46:29 2006 From: Robert Dyck Date: Fri, 29 Dec 2006 19:46:29 +0000 To: kmail-devel Subject: [Bug 138560] kmail crash, unknown trigger, apparently random Message-Id: <20061229194629.28660.qmail () ktown ! kde ! org> X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kmail-devel&m=116742160829476 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138560 ------- Additional Comments From rob.dyck telus net 2006-12-29 20:46 ------- I believe I have found the trigger for this crash. It involves a particular message and some critical timing. If this particular message is opened some sort of a timer is started. If the message is now moved to another folder such trash within seven minutes of opening the message, kmail will crash. Waiting longer than about seven minutes before moving the message will be safe. I will attach a gzip of the offending message as created from "view source". If anyone wants it, I can forward the message in its "natural state". _______________________________________________ KMail developers mailing list KMail-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kmail-devel
