Summary: Suggest BCC use in composer
Product: kmail
Version: unspecified
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
ReportedBy: fbourdonnec chez com
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Many users have no idea of what BCC is. When sending a message to multiple recipient, \
Kmail should explain the user the following (and suggest BCC)
-virus/spam: if one recipient is compromised, it will be happy to receive new email \
address in CC field.
-privacy (maybe X hates Y and won't be happy to exchange address with him)
-...
CC is ok for a "working group", bad for sending your latest 'photo' to your \
address-book.
A treshold (of 3 recipients?) should be added in options, to activate the 'warning'.
Franck
