No risk here, I have more than one system ;-)

Now it says [ KMail 1.9.5 (KDE 3.5.5 "release 39.1" openSUSE) ] but does not work \
either.

But by chance I found the invalid header, it's the first line (see attachment where \
it appears two times) "From andreas ..." 

starting with "From" but without a following colon ("From " vs. "From: ").

After removing it in advance of the import I was able to move the mail into my IMAP \
structure.

Because this line does not exist in the mail source's preview it must have been added \
while saving the mail as a textfile.

So it is a bug of the "save as" function?
