I'd like this "delete" action too, I've been using the expiring folders and \
auto-emptying trashes and it's still not what I want, i.e. an automatic delete.

Did the discussion halt there? Is it not implemented because no KMail developer \
thinks it's important enough, because they think it's a Bad Idea, because it's harder \
than expected? In other words, would a patch be accepted? \
