Summary: Possible issue with attachments containing ./
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: nick linicks net

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: GCC 3.3.4 -march=athlon-tbird
OS: Linux

I am not sure this a kmail issue, but it needs researching to check - can anybody \
here do similar with Outlook mail client (etc. etc.)

I sent myself (at work) a plain text file attachment which contained a line similar

./install

When I received the attachment (in Lotus Notes mail client on MS XP), opening the \
attachment, that line now read:

../install

Just testing today, I created a simple file containing this:

./test

Sure enough, checking mail at work on Lotus Notes and opening the attachment (after \
saving it), it comes out as:

../test

So, is this a kmail issue? - Lotus Notes issue? MS Windows issue?

I dunno?

Nick
