Summary: free-text entry for "Mail Transport" in composer makes
no sense
Product: kmail
Version: 1.9.3
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
ReportedBy: inform tiker net
Version: 1.9.3 (using KDE 3.5.4, Debian Package 4:3.5.4-3 \
(testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17.6
IMO, it is strange that the "Mail Transport" field in KMail allows free-text entry. \
Moreover, it seems to display a list of recently-used values in addition to the ones \
defined in the KMail configuration. If you happen to type something invalid there, \
your message does not get sent. I think this item should only allow a choice of the \
valid values.
Feel free to flame me if I'm being an idiot.
