The status bar in KMail normally displays (in each folder)
    xxx messages, yy unread

When using the quick search, this should change to
    xxx messages (xx visible), yy unread (y visible)

The "visible" numbers should contain the number of messages that match the quick \
filter. This would be very helpful if you want to find out how many messages match \
your current quick filter. _______________________________________________
